Electric sites border the serene Caldwell Lake, where you can launch your kayak at sunrise, cast a line from shore, or cool off at the small swimming beach before gathering for sunset at one of the lakeside picnic areas.
Scioto Trail State Park Campground includes wooded electric campsites near Caldwell Lake (55 electric sites) and hike-in primitive sites at the Stewart Lake camp area. Reservations are required for campsites.
Historical Significance
The park area contains reminders of prehistoric Adena and Hopewell earthworks and takes its name from the historic Scioto Trail used by Native Americans and early settlers.
