Best season: summer. Summer offers reliably warm, dry weather (typical daytime highs 65–85°F, nights 40–50°F) and full access to Lake Como and trailheads, making it the best time for boating, fishing, hiking, and swimming. Clear skies and long daylight hours maximize time on the water and in the high meadows while the group pavilion and picnic areas are most usable for large gatherings. Expect higher weekend crowds in July–August and occasional afternoon thunderstorms; plan mid-week trips for more solitude. Peak months: July, August, September, June Avoid: November, December, January, February
Site best in summer: warm dry weather, full lake and trail access, peak season activities.
