Best season: summer. Summer offers the warmest, most reliable weather for Lake Como’s water-based and day-hike activities — expect daytime highs typically in the mid-60s to low-80s°F (≈18–28°C) with cool nights in the mid-30s to 50s°F (≈2–10°C). The reservoir is at its most inviting for swimming, boating, paddling and shoreline fishing, and forested trails are generally snow-free and easy to access. Weekends in July and August can be moderately busy (sites are first-come, first-served), so arrive early for the best, Peak months: July, August, June, September

It is a single loop with 125' pull through sites for recreational vehicle RVs with spurs that include 8 single sites and 2 double sites. (12 total sites). The campground is paved and all sites feature electrical and water hookups. Water and garbage services are also provided. Three of the sites are accessible, and there are 4 accessible vault toilets located throughout the campground.
