Rigs over 35 feet will likely struggle; reviewers flagged tight fits on some sites. Also, campers who booked expecting a full hookup should double-check, a handful of Campground 1 sites are electric-only.

Summer brings the full lakeside experience: daytime highs in the mid-80s to low-90s, warm water for swimming, and the marina buzzing with rentals and fishing activity. Nights cool to the mid-60s to mid-70s. Expect peak crowds on summer weekends and lively campfire evenings. Spring and fall offer more comfortable temperatures for hiking the trails and quieter mornings on the water, though marina services scale back outside the busy season. The campground stays open March through November; late-fall visits mean fewer amenities but also fewer neighbors.
Peak season with warm weather, perfect for water activities. Book early.
