Go if

Families or couples who want a tidy, staffed base for swimming and fishing in summer. Sites in the Maple Grove area are the call for tenters who want beach access, and reviewers consistently praise the staff and spotless restrooms.

Skip if

No pets allowed, full stop. The nearby shooting range carries sound to the sites after dark, and the access road confuses first-timers, so download offline directions before you go. No showers on-site either.
