Located in the heart of the Ironjaw Semi-Primitive Area, Triangle Lake is managed for both motorized and non-motorized uses and our management efforts seek to provide for quiet, peaceful recreation opportunities in a semi-primitive setting. Both campsites on Triangle Lake (169 acres) are located on the non-motorized Pine Marten Run Trail, which is open to hiking, mountain biking and horse back riding. There is no drinking water at these campsites. A boat access and parking area for day use is located at Site #1. This access is very sandy and turn-around space is limited. Carry-in access is recommended. There is no boat access at site #2. Triangle Lake is a good fishing lake with a nice population of northern pike, small mouth bass, bluegills, crappie and perch.

Best season: summer. Summer offers the warmest, most reliably pleasant weather (daytime highs typically 65–80°F, nighttime 45–60°F) and full access to the 84-acre lake for swimming, canoeing/kayaking, and top fishing (bass and panfish). Long daylight hours make hiking, biking, and wildlife viewing excellent, and the campground’s tiny size (only five sites) means even peak summer days still feel secluded rather than crowded. Note the campground is open May 15–Oct 9 and reservations begin June 21, so July–August are最佳 Peak months: July, August, September, June Avoid: November, December, January, February
July/Aug best conditions; lake warms enough for swimming and small site count keeps it uncrowded.
