Summer is the most reliable season, with daytime highs in the mid-60s to mid-80s°F and nights cooling to 35-50°F. Creeks run clear for fishing. Wildflowers peak early in the season. Most trails are accessible. Holiday weekends see moderate crowds given the small site count, but the campground feels peaceful otherwise. Winter brings heavy snow that closes access until spring.
