River Side Campground offers primitive camping with waterfront sites providing direct access to the Deadwood River. Amenities include vault toilets located uphill from the main camping area and drinking water provided on-site. However, roads and parking spurs are unpaved dirt paths. While the setting is picturesque, user reviews highlight several maintenance issues such as 'toilet paper was out in the bathroom the entire time' and reports of 'campsites filled with small bits of trash.'
