<p>Elevation 7600 feet. 11 campsites on Gull Lake. Sites will accommodate a 30 foot vehicle. Drinking water is available. Flush toilets are available. 14 day stay limit. Each site is equipped with a bear locker.</p>
The elevation is 7,600 ft. The campground stretches out along the southern end of Gull Lake through Aspen and Lodgepole trees. Some camp sites are at the water's edge and all have some view of the lake. The thick vegetation, particularly River willow, between camp sites provide good privacy. For day trips, visit the Yosemite National Park and Mono Basin Scenic Area.

The parking aprons are dirt. An RV waste station is available for a fee at the Mobil gas station at intersection of US Rt. 395 and State Rt. 120 and Shell gas station at intersection of State Rt. 158 and US Rt. 395.
From June Lake, CA, take State Rt. 158 west 0.4 miles to campground on right.

Summer is the best time to visit Gull Lake Campground because warm, stable weather (daytime highs typically 65–80°F, nights 35–50°F) makes alpine lake activities—fishing, boating, swimming, and hiking—most reliable. Trails are snow-free, boat launches are open, and wildflowers and aspen shade create an ideal basecamp atmosphere, though the campground is busiest in July–August so reservations are recommended. Expect occasional afternoon thunderstorms in July–August and cool nights; the payoff is Peak months: July, August, September, June Avoid: November, December, January, February
