Light sleepers will struggle here. Reviewers report loud music past 1 AM despite posted quiet hours, and campsites are close enough that one rowdy neighbor affects the whole place. Also, the campground is still in Post Fire recovery, so confirm the eastern area status before book

Fall delivers the best riding and camping conditions. Daytime temps range 60–80°F, with cool nights in the 40s and 50s. Trails firm up after summer's heat, dust settles, and late-season light improves visibility across ridges and gullies. Summer pushes 90–100°F, creating dusty, blazing conditions. Winter brings frost and occasional snow. Crowds peak in summer; weekdays and early fall weekends offer moderate traffic with excellent trail conditions.
Spring is peak season with mild temps and good riding alongside fall.
