Best season: fall. Fall offers the most comfortable weather and the best window for hiking, biking and wildlife viewing — expect daytime highs in the 60s–80s°F and crisp nights in the 40s–50s°F. Trails are typically clear, smoke and heat are less frequent than summer, and the small 11-site campground feels very quiet compared with busier coastal spots. Because Wildomar reopens for the season through November, October–November are ideal for solitude, good light for photography, and productive wildlife activity (dé Peak months: October, November, May, June Avoid: December, January, February, March

Wildomar Campground features 11 campsites and is currently closed due to the Wildomar Fire. Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, and pit toilets, but there is no water available on-site. Access is first-come, first-served, with cash-only payments.
