Best season: spring. Spring offers the most comfortable weather and the brightest scenery — daytime highs typically 60–75°F with cool nights around 40–50°F — making it ideal for extended OHV days and relaxed evenings under the oaks. Wildflowers and fresh green chaparral add color to the ride lines and trails, and dust levels are usually lower after occasional late-winter rains. Expect moderate weekend crowds from local riders but plenty of room midweek for quieter camping and longer trail runs. Peak months: April, May, March, February Avoid: July, August
Spring described as most comfortable (60–75°F) with wildflowers and green chaparral.
Please note that there is no potable water in the campground or within the local Corral Canyon and Bear Valley area.
