Go if

Equestrians get the most out of this place, public corrals on-site, direct access to Ash Creek Trail #307 and Web Peak Trail #345, and a small camp that rarely crowds. Hikers who want a high-elevation basecamp for under $15 a night will also find it worth the drive up Swift Trail

Skip if

No potable water on-site means hauling your own for a full stay. Rigs longer than 22 feet can't safely negotiate the switchbacks on AZ 366, and the whole road shuts down mid-November through mid-April, check the dates before you plan a shoulder-season trip.
