Fall offers the best combination of comfortable weather, vivid riparian color, and excellent fishing — daytime highs are often in the mid-60s to mid-70s°F with crisp nights in the 30s–40s°F, especially in September and October. Cooler water and clearer pools make trout fishing productive and wildlife is very active along the East Fork riparian corridor as animals prepare for winter. Crowds are lower than peak summer weekends though popular fall weekends (leaf-peekers and anglers) will still see Peak months: October, September, June, May Avoid: December, January, February
