Driving directionsAccessible mid-April through October. Located 35 air miles northeast of Sitka on the southeast side of Chichagof Island, about 30 minutes by floatplane. Also accessible by boat (3-4 hours from Sitka) from Sitkoh Bay, then follow the Sitkoh Lake Trail (in poor condition) 4.3 miles to the cabin.
Driving access via boat or floatplane only. Roads in the area are isolated and may require hiking or off-highway vehicle riding for 8 miles followed by a 1/2-mile foot trail.

Fishing options include cutthroat trout and Dolly Varden in the lake and salmon runs in Sitkoh Creek depending on the season. A poorly maintained 4.3-mile hiking trail along Sitkoh Creek leads to Sitkoh Bay. Hunting opportunities include deer and waterfowl. OHV riding is restricted to designated roads as per the Sitka Motor Vehicle Use Map.
HikingThe site features a 4.3-mile trail along Sitkoh Creek to Sitkoh Bay, though the trail is described as being in poor condition. The area also offers access to isolated roads from past logging activities, which can be explored on foot or via OHV.
