"The cabin is equipped with a wood stove for heating, an axe or splitting maul, table and benches, cooking counter, broom, and an outhouse toilet." Visitors need to bring essential items, including sleeping bags, pads, cooking equipment, food, toilet paper, and other necessities. Water can be sourced from the lake but must be treated before usage. "A heavy square-bowed skiff with oars is available, but a long-shaft outboard motor in the range of 2-10 hp is recommended for use." Facilities are not maintained in winter, and visitors must pack out trash and unused food.
