Summer offers warm, dry days (typically 75–90°F daytime, nights in the 50s–60s) and full campground services, making it ideal for boating, swimming, fishing, and canyon hiking when water access and boat ramps are fully usable. The canyon scenery is at its most accessible and comfortable for long days on the water or shoreline, and wildlife viewing is excellent in early morning and evening.
