It is noted for its serene setting, with access to fishing and essential camping amenities. Sites are equipped with fire rings, grills, and picnic tables. The campground also has vault toilets, water faucets, bear-proof storage boxes, and a dumpster. Food storage precautions must be followed as the area is grizzly bear habitat. The road leading to the site includes approximately 12 miles of dirt road, which some users describe as being heavily washboarded. "A pretty run-down campground" was mentioned in one review, but other users have noted its remote charm and proximity to nature.
