Miners Gulch Campground was affected by large debris in 2023 that cause irrepairable damage and is no longer open to the Public.
From Duchesne, Utah: Take Highway 87 north for 15 miles to the Mountain Home turnoff. Turn left and continue 2.5 miles north to the Rock Creek Store. Turn left toward Rock Creek Canyon and proceed approximately 15 miles to the campground. <br><br> You'll see a sign for Miners Gulch and a dirt road immediately after it. Do not take the dirt road. The campground turnoff is paved and is a few hundred yards after the sign.

Miners Gulch Campground is a group camping facility located next to Rock Creek in the Rock Creek Drainage. The facility includes picnic tables, campfire rings, and vault toilets. It does not have running water, so campers need to bring their own supply. This shaded campground is set back off the main road, providing privacy, and is surrounded by dense stands of aspens, pines, sagebrush, and wildflowers. Evenings in the area are cool. The campground is no longer open to the public due to irreparable damage caused by debris in 2023.
