Best season: summer. Summer offers the best combination of mild, relatively dry weather and fully accessible trails and tidepools — expect daytime highs around 55–65°F and nights in the upper 40s to low 50s. This is peak time for hiking the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area, exploring tidepools at low tide, and enjoying clearer ocean views with less fog and rain. Campground use is highest in July–August, so reservations are strongly recommended to secure a site. Peak months: August, July, June, September Avoid: October, November, December, January
Summer is peak season with mild temps, best window for hiking and tidepooling per reviews.
