RVs and long trailers won't fit comfortably here, and anyone expecting level tent pads will be frustrated. No potable water, minimal maintenance, visible logging debris on some sites, and weekend mornings see all six spots gone fast.

Summer brings the most reliable conditions: sunny days with highs in the mid-60s to low-70s and cool nights dropping into the 40s. Clear skies favor hiking and stargazing, and wildflower meadows hit their peak. Autumn offers golden light and morning fog, though temperatures drop. Winter and early spring can bring freezing temps, rain, or snow. The mountaintop weather shifts quickly from misty mornings to afternoon clearing.
Summer offers most reliable weather, hiking, stargazing; campground busiest on summer weekends.
