Rocky Fork Lower Campground sits on the north shore of 2,000-acre Rocky Fork Lake in southern Ohio, offering nearly 200 sites that include full hookups and premium deck platforms. The lower ring is newer and lakeside, trading shade for open sky and water access. Reserve up to six months ahead online or by phone at (866) 644-6727, or grab a walk-in site at the camp store.

Natural Features and SceneryRocky Fork Lake spreads out with 30 miles of shoreline, ringed by gentle hills where farmland meets scattered hardwood forest. The lower campground occupies the newer lakeside section. Less tree cover, more breeze, and partial lake views from many sites. Sunrise catches the water most mornings. A few low spots can get soggy after rain, but the open layout means plenty of sun and easy launch access for kayaks and fishing gear. If you want dense canopy, the park's upper wooded loops deliver more shade at the expense of tighter spacing.
