Go if

Families with kids get the most out of this place: playground, mini-golf, canoe and kayak rentals for registered campers, a sand beach, and direct lake access all in one spot. Request a shaded waterfront site when reserving through Ohio DNR.

Skip if

Peak summer holiday weekends pack this place hard. Sites have limited privacy, noise carries at night, and beach-rule enforcement is reportedly inconsistent. Solo campers or light sleepers will have a rough time in July or August.
