Tent campers who want lake views, minimal neighbors, and zero bar-crowd noise will find this hits the mark. July and August book fast, so reserve months out. Showers exist at the Marina Harbormaster building if you can live without on-site facilities.
No potable water, no flush toilets, and no RV access makes this a hard pass for anyone expecting basic hookups. Teens may get bored fast with limited island activities, and the handful of restaurants often close on weekdays.
