Go if

Horse campers who self-contain and want saddle-up-from-camp access to miles of scenic bridle trails. Sites 7 and 8 are the most wooded. Book six months out; peak weekends fill fast.

Skip if

No showers, no flush toilets, no water or electric at the equestrian sites. If your rig needs hookups or you're not bringing your own water, the main campground across the park is a better fit.
