Summer brings daytime highs in the low 70s to mid-80s°F, with Lake Ontario breezes keeping conditions comfortable. Water temperatures climb into the 60s and low 70s°F by mid-season, making swimming pleasant. This is the busiest time, with all facilities, boat launches, and trails fully open. Expect crowds on holiday weekends. Winter transforms the dunes into cross-country skiing and snowmobiling terrain, though services are limited.
