Go if

Families and beach campers who grab a Beach Loop reservation early: those sites sit closest to the water, lifeguards cover the swim area in summer, and the sunset views over the lake get consistent raves. Full hookups, showers, and laundry mean you're not roughing it.

Skip if

Sewer odors hit certain inland loops hard during peak season, rusty water is a real enough complaint that reviewers suggest bringing a filter, and narrow camp roads make bigger rigs a genuine headache, Site 62 in particular is a leveling nightmare for RVs.
