Go if

Waterfront campers who grab site C-45 or similar corner spots get the best of both worlds: lake views and a bit more elbow room. The lighthouse tour alone is worth the trip, and summer temps in the 70s-80s make this the clear sweet spot. Kayakers and boaters have a dedicated laun

No beach access here, full stop. Steep cliffs block the water, so swimmers will be frustrated. Sites 30-33 have blocked lake views, and most of the campground runs closer together than people expect with minimal tree cover. AT&T and T-Mobile users get no signal either.
