Privacy matters to you, reviewers consistently flag sites packed too close together, showers run disappointing, and the guarded swim area is shallow and crowded from 11AM to 7PM. Pets can't go on the beach either.

Summer brings the warmest conditions: daytime highs in the mid-70s to mid-80s°F, with Lake Ontario surface temps reaching the mid-60s to low-70s°F by July and August. This is when swimming, boating, and beach access are most practical. Weekend crowds peak in July and August. Winter drops temps to around 30°F, opening the park for snowmobiling and ice fishing. Spring sits between these extremes as the landscape wakes up.
Peak season with warm temps, lifeguarded swimming, boating and highest activity levels.
