About Jenny Jump Campground

Jenny Jump State Forest sits on a glacially formed ridge in the Skylands region of northwestern New Jersey, near Hope in Warren County. Its elevation and dark skies make it a noted stargazing spot, and the United Astronomy Clubs of New Jersey operate an observatory in the forest. Camping consists of 22 tent and trailer sites with fire rings and picnic tables, two group campsites, and eight rustic shelters near the top of Jenny Jump Mountain. Standard sites have showers and flush toilets nearby; group sites have pit toilets.
