<p>Jeffers Brook Shelter is an 'Adirondack' style shelter that is located just off Town Line Trail (Appalachain Trail) via a side trail 1.1 miles north of NH RT 25 in the village of Glencliff. It can be also accessed via Long Pond Road (North South Road) by going 0.2 miles south on Town Line Trail from where it crosses the road. Jeffer's Brook nearby is the water source and a composting outhouse is provided.</p>

Fall delivers the best conditions. Daytime highs run 45–60°F from late September through October, with nights dropping to 25–40°F. Peak foliage typically hits late September to early October, drawing weekend crowds. Bugs subside after summer. Weekdays and early mornings stay quieter. Winter brings heavy snow and plunging temperatures; spring and summer are milder with low humidity and frequent clear skies.
