Pittsburg Campground Loop 200 is part of the Pittsburg Area Campground in Pomme de Terre State Park, offering reservable sites including electric and electric/water sites. The campground is located on the Pittsburg side of Pomme de Terre Lake, near a full-service marina, beach, shelter house, and trails. Loops 100 and 200 are open year-round, while Loop 200 is also noted as open only March through November in some contexts. Showers and water are available April 1 to October 31. The campground features modern restrooms, hot showers, laundry facilities, and a dumping station. Reservations can be made up to 12 months in advance online or by phone, with walk-up availability for unreserved sites.

This reservoir, with 1,530 water surface acres, 3,069 land acres and 11 shoreline miles, offers fishing for rainbow trout and kokanee salmon.

Summer is the best time to visit. Facilities run at full capacity, marinas and boat ramps stay open, and you can swim and fish late into the evening. Daytime highs typically reach the mid-70s to upper-80s°F, occasionally breaking into the 90s. Humidity is high. Afternoon thunderstorms roll through at times. Expect crowds on Memorial Day and other holiday weekends. Facilities close for the season after October 31.
