Summer is the main season, with daytime highs in the 70s to mid-80s and cool evenings in the 50s–60s. Lake Andrew's beach and boat ramp see moderate to busy crowds on July and August weekends. Mosquitoes can be heavy. Multiple reviews mention bringing bug spray or a Thermacell. Naturalist programs run most often in summer. The park operates year-round, though winter limits lake access.
Hardwood forest and trails imply strong fall color and good hiking, though specifics aren't detailed.
