Go if

Families and trail users who want electric hookups, hot showers, and lake access in one place. The Sakatah Singing Hills State Trail starts nearby, walleye and pike fishing draws return visitors, and reviewers call the wooded sites genuinely spacious with good hammock trees.

Skip if

Mid-summer bugs are serious here, mosquitoes and horse flies both, and sites near Hwy 60 get real road noise. If you're expecting a quiet wilderness feel, the highway hum will disappoint. No water hookups, no camp store, and shower capacity is thin for 65 sites.
