Summer offers the gentlest weather (typically 60–75°F), long daylight hours, and calm windows ideal for paddling, boating from the dock, and cold-but-refreshing swims in Siskiwit Bay. Trails, shelters, and ranger services are in regular operation and the campground is open with a stay limit enforced from June 1 to Labor Day, making logistics straightforward. Crowds are still light compared with mainland parks, so you get island solitude while enjoying peak water-based activities and clear views.
