Summer offers reliably warm, comfortable weather (daytime highs typically in the mid-60s to mid-80s°F / 18–29°C) and full access to the campground’s roads, boat launch, and trails, making boating, trout/bass fishing, paddling, and long riverside hikes the highlight. Water levels are usually suitable for canoeing and motor boating on Loud Dam Pond, and long daylight hours are ideal for wildlife viewing and evening campfires. Rollways Campground offers a blend of essential amenities with a rustic camping experience. Vault toilets and drinking water spigots are dispersed throughout the campground, and all roads and camping spurs are paved. Each of the 19 pull-through campsites is equipped with picnic tables, a lantern post, grills, tent pads, and campfire rings. A log shelter and additional picnic tables and grills are available at the picnic area.
