The West Dolores Campground offers a range of essential amenities for visitors. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring. Vault toilets and drinking water are provided on-site. A few of the sites include electric hookups. "They do a great job at keeping the restroom clean and the smell away" (Matt Hastings). Trash collection is available, and the water spigot provides clean drinking water. However, showers are not available. The elevation of 7,800 feet adds to the natural charm, and the campground is shaded by spruce, ponderosa pine, and Douglas fir trees.
