Best Time to Camp at Seedhouse Campground

Mountain weather at Seedhouse creates a symphony of contrasts that defines the high-country experience. Summer days warm your spirit under the Colorado sun, while crisp mornings remind you of the altitude with temperatures that call for that extra layer. Even in July and August, nightfall brings a dramatic temperature drop that makes campfire gatherings and warm sleeping bags essential companions. The mosquitoes that emerge during peak summer months are a small price to pay for the pristine alpine environment they indicate—just remember to pack your preferred repellent.
