Go if

OHV riders or fall hunters who can handle first-come-first-served, no water, no showers, and a rough unimproved dirt road to get there. Free sites with vault toilets in a dense forested setting at 1,355 ft, with daytime highs in the 60s-70s after Labor Day.

Skip if

No potable water on-site means hauling everything in. No hookups, no showers, unimproved road access, and no lake or trail access either. If any of those are dealbreakers, this place will disappoint before you've unpacked.
