Driving directionsFrom Redding, CA, remain on I-5 to Gilman Road. (From the north, take Salt Creek exit to Gilman Road). Take Gilman Road east for 11 miles to entrance of Hirz Bay. On Hirz Bay Rd you will take a right and Hirz Cabin will be the first road on the right.
Accessible from paved roads via Gilman Road; recommended to follow specific directions as it might be tricky for some visitors.
