Best season: summer. Summer offers the most reliable, comfortable weather and full access to Pearch Creek Campground (open May 14–Oct 14), with daytime highs typically in the mid-50s to low-60s°F and cool, pleasant nights in the 40s–50s. This is prime time for swimming, boating and fishing on the Klamath River, longer daylight for hiking and biking under the Douglas fir canopy, and the campground facilities are fully staffed and busiest then. Expect moderate weekend crowds but plenty of quiet midweek opportunities;— Peak months: July, August, September, June Avoid: November, December, January, February
Summer is reliable: cool shaded days, peak season May–Oct and many positive summer reviews.
