Driving directionsTake Highway 680 to Walnut Creek and exit at Diablo Road. Continue east for 3 miles to Mount Diablo Scenic Blvd, which leads to the park and eventually to the Juniper Campground.
The roads leading to the park are steep, narrow, and winding with blind turns. Vehicles over 24 feet are not recommended due to sharp curves. There are multiple entrances, including North Gate Road, South Gate Road, Macedo Ranch Staging Area, and Mitchell Canyon Staging Area. Access may be restricted during high fire danger or adverse weather conditions.
