Go if

Cave-tour-first campers who book ahead will find the full setup works well: electric and water at each site, showers included in the $50/night fee, and the Discovery Center a short walk away. October is the sweet spot for weather.

Leaving the camera on the whole trip matters to you? The caverns ban photography inside, and that's a dealbreaker for many. No cell service, no wifi, and no pets (except cabins 3 and 4) rules out a lot of families too.
