RVs over 16 feet won't fit. Winter campers should know the water shuts off at first freeze, so bring your own. Maintenance runs thin: reviewers consistently find restrooms without toilet paper and a self-pay station out of forms.

Fall brings the most comfortable conditions. Daytime temperatures settle into the 60-80°F range from October through November, with nights cooling to the 30s and 50s. Bird activity peaks during this window, and trails stay pleasant for full-day hikes without summer's heat. Winter nights drop below freezing. Summer days push past 90°F, though the creek and shade offer some relief. Insects are less aggressive in fall than during warmer months.
