Church Bight Cabin is a remote cabin located on Admiralty Island in the Tongass National Forest. The cabin provides essential amenities for a wilderness experience but lacks many modern conveniences. The cabin includes a wood stove for heating, wooden bunks (no mattresses), a loft, a table, benches, cooking counters, an axe, a splitting maul, a broom, and an outside toilet. Firewood is generally provided at a nearby woodshed, but this is not guaranteed. Water must be filtered, boiled, or treated if sourced from natural sites, and visitors should bring their own supplies, including water, food, sleeping bags, and other essentials. There is no running water, electricity, or cell phone service. The access to the cabin is by float plane or boat, and visitors must plan their trips carefully, considering tides and weather.
