"Bridge Bay Campground is generally well‑liked for its scenic setting near Yellowstone Lake, abundant wildlife (especially elk, bison, and deer), and relatively quiet, peaceful sites—especially in the upper/wooded loops. Campers praise the campground’s cleanliness, including restrooms and dishwashing areas, and consistently describe staff as friendly and helpful at check‑in and throughout their stay. However, experiences vary by loop and site. Some visitors feel sites can be tight, unlevel, and very close together with little privacy, particularly in certain loops, and several tent campers felt crowded or mismatched with RVs. There are no hookups, hot water is limited, and showers are either not on‑site, far away, or occasionally closed for maintenance, which can be inconvenient on longer trips. Pricing is viewed by some as high relative to the level of amenities, though others still consider it a good value for the location inside Yellowstone."
