The La Barge Guard Station is equipped with essential amenities suitable for a rustic camping experience. Guests can enjoy the propane-operated stove, refrigerator, and lights, along with wood heating options. Vault toilets are available behind the cabin. However, indoor plumbing and guaranteed water supply are not provided. Firewood availability is uncertain, and guests are advised to bring their own or collect locally. "No electricity, linens, or bedding are provided," emphasizes the official source, urging campers to plan accordingly. The cabin offers three bunkbeds sleeping six people and includes some cooking utensils, though their presence is not guaranteed. There are picnic tables and horse hitching posts on-site.
