Go if

Groups of hikers, mountain bikers, or anglers who want a private riverside base in Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. One site means you have the whole place, and summer temps in the 60s–80s keep conditions ideal for trail days into the Wilderness.

Skip if

No potable water on-site means hauling everything you'll drink. Solo campers or couples should also know this is a group site, so the $40 flat fee and single-site layout aren't sized for a party of two. Gravel access roads may trouble low-clearance vehicles.
