No potable water on-site means packing in everything you'll drink. Also, despite the name, the Domke Lake trail system isn't accessible from this campground, hikers expecting a trail network will be disappointed.

Summer brings the most reliable conditions, with daytime highs in the mid-70s to low-80s°F and calm lake water warm enough for swimming. This is when boat access is easiest and the trail to the falls stays dry. Expect the campground to fill on holiday weekends. Winter temperatures drop to the 30s and low 40s°F, with occasional snow. The floating dock maintains access even when lake levels drop, giving Domke Falls an advantage over some nearby sites during off-season.
Summer offers mid-70s–80s temps, calm warm water, ideal for swimming and boating.
