Natural Features and SceneryThe campground sits beneath a canopy of evergreens along the Entiat River, with the current audible from camp. Entiat Falls lies downstream, accessible via trails that climb through mixed forest. The surrounding terrain transitions from dense conifers along the river corridor to more open shrub-steppe at lower elevations. Glacier Peak Wilderness backcountry starts a few miles upriver, where trails climb into alpine meadows and glaciated peaks. Mule deer and elk move through the area. Eagles hunt over the river.
