Best Time to Camp at Redman Campground

Summer arrives as a gentle reprieve from valley heat, with temperatures running 15-20 degrees cooler than the city below—perfect for those seeking refuge from scorching days. Mountain weather keeps things interesting with afternoon thunderstorms that roll through dramatically, filling the air with the fresh scent of rain on pine. When winter blankets the canyon in deep snow, Redman takes its seasonal rest, reopening each June as wildflowers begin their colorful emergence and welcoming visitors through September's golden days.
